I have published two iterations of this post in the past and I’m thrilled to share round three today. My favorite part is getting your mini-lists of the rhythms, routines and products currently working for you and/or your family so be sure to leave those in the comments, deal? The first edition of this post was focused on things working in our home—chore routines, how we approach screen time, the liturgy book blessing our marriage and so on. The second edition was focused solely on myself. Today’s version will be a mix of the two almost exactly a year after the first time this was introduced because few things bring me more joy than a list of simple joys. This list ranges for the nighttime show rotation O and I are giddy with and my tornado comfort blanket—let’s get to it.

I’ve slowly begun stocking the room with things we need in there, but safety items we’ve had form years are currently stacked on the shelves in that room and items in my cart can all be found here. The most valuable items we’ve used for years are definitely pillows, the weather radio, the cordless lamp and flashlight and folding chairs. The things I noticed we needed were a couple fans since our power went out for 12 hours with the storm a couple weeks ago, a new first aid kit and disposable urine bags (yep, you read that right.)
