As I shared in last week’s post, I decided the best format for this conversation would be in podcast style. My thoughts aren’t perfectly organized and they’re not tied with a neat ribbon. Truthfully, I’m simply opening up Mary Poppins bag and revealing the endless amount of stuff I can pull out of there when it comes to thoughts about the way I show up online. Making a living in this way is bizarre, when you really think about it. I learned all the tips and tricks when I was working for brands and even more when I was the brand. Now, I wonder if it’s possible to untangle myself from the formula and still be great at what I do. More puzzling, can I want to be paid like I’m great at what I do?

Pulling back the curtain as far as it will go, as usual. I didn’t listen to it back (I never do) and I’m 40% nervous I sound like a pick-me girl in some parts of it and muddled in others. But this is where I am. Thanks for being here and for your grace and also your nosiness. You are my people.
