I hope y’all had a beautiful Easter weekend, friends. I took Sunday off to honor the Holiday, but I have a whole lot to catch you up on so a Monday letter was in order. I’ll keep my words few today because I have a whole lot of photos (and a video!) for your eyeballs. It’s too long for email so click to see the full post in its intended form here. As an Easter treat, this post is available for all subscribers both free and paid. Enjoy!
denim trench options. old linen shirt. nearly fully sold out barrel denim trousers (for good reason—they’re incredible.) converse 70s.
sold out Sea Ny dress snagged on major sale. I always keep an eye out for sales with this brand because the textiles are second to none.
favorite ribbed pajama set—jack and I both packed this exact same pair as out jams for the trip.
Back to life, back to reality. I actually never go into Target to avoid extra spending but Easter week called for an in-person trip. These OG favorite jeans certainly don’t fit me properly currently but they’re still a go-to. Cashmere collared cardigan- old but still in stock. Khaite August bag (a few years old and only available in suede).
I’m always a huge fan of COS but they do Fall and Spring like none other and their pieces always look and feel like triple the price. I find this navy shirtdress to be even more stunning and cool than black and can’t wait to wear it over swimsuits, white floor-length trousers or flare denim. (This was Good Friday and I want to note that my older two always dress themselves and their sense of style is just the cutest thing to me.)
the back of this dress is the true show stopper. couldn’t love it more.
Picnik in Austin has AIP options listed on the menu and after two days of True Food chicken breasts destroying my gut for some reason (despite being totally AIP compliant on paper) I almost cried at a protein option I knew was safe for me.
when in doubt, walk to whole foods for a juice, fresh coconut and a Chomps meat stick.
breakfast in bed of champions—a few slices of meat and chamomile tea.
I’d never been so thrilled to be back in my kitchen. Mushroom, sweet potato, bacon and kale breakfast hash for the win
Late nights of homework and soccer call for ground turkey and cheese quesadillas in a sea of papers
you know the drill.
finding out certain kombuchas are AIP compliant genuinely made me cheer out loud.
I don’t have a recipe for this quiche, but I used the Minimalist Baker’s pie crust recipe (which I took some shortcuts on and the kids’ said it still was an incredible crust) and a few different Quiche Lorraine recipes which I turned dairy and gluten free. O and I both couldn’t partake and my kids are complimentary and easy to please—but they said they couldn’t choose a favorite between the french toast piled high with berries, whipped cream and syrup and the quiche (with none of those instant-win toppings) and that’s really saying something. Pie plates here.
And for anyone curious, I brought all the pouches, bananas, avocados, puffs and yogis for E. I love these hard sided cases which are finally on Amazon.
Loved this writing and images! Love the blue Jean trench and pjs!
I’m intrigued about these containers! What all do you use them for?
