I thought it might be helpful to share what I actually did in the outfits I share, mostly because I love the way that glimpse and context helps frame someones wardrobe when I see others do it. I also find it fascinating to know what people wear to what—this is something I have loved since I was a kid. Isn’t it incredible to learn if someone wears heels for school pick up? Or to get a glimpse of how they pull of a t-shirt and jeans for a fancy night out? I love few things more.

In the outfit from the opening photo, I had meetings at the new house. You’re not really getting any sneak peeks up here aside from the paint swatch on the wall for a section of the kid’s area upstairs because the painted trim and floors are all protected. We’re at the phase where I’m at the house at least three days a week measuring, meeting, finalizing, photographing and everything in between and on strictly meeting days, I like to look and feel put together while still being comfortable. Jacket is fully sold out but this is an identical stunning one and this one is the most wallet-friendly of any I’ve seen. Dress is the absolute most flattering thing on the planet (old, white is sold out), shoes are Vejas. Bag is Celine.
