I felt all fancy until I realized only at the very end of the night that I’d had a sticky name tag on the front of my trench coat from Keogena’s Ancient Egyptian festival at school. C’est la vie.

This week I was dealing with health things for a stretch of days and was so grateful to feel wonderful by the end of it. I had been helping my babes finish big projects and memorize speeches for work due before Spring break. There was work at the house, therapy, meetings, festival, celebrations following perfect scores for both the kids (!!) soccer practice, sister night followed by a church event and finally the sweet start of break. There were a million sweet moments this week and I’m grateful. Also, most of the food will look just like last week…and probably just like next week. But I did get a steak this week and we can all cheer for that.
