If you’re new here, the Sunday letter is the Instagram Story version of the gold standard. I was receiving more and more questions about specific outfits and recipes that didn’t fit the theme of the Friday letter, so the On My Body & On My Plate letter was born. As a reminder—this isn’t an exhaustive list of everything I ate, cooked or wore. Plenty of outfits don’t get photographed because I didn’t have someone to snap the photo or just plain forgot and many meals are leftovers or the same thing on repeat. This serves as inspiration and light documentation only. This is extra photo heavy so be sure to click “view more” at the end if it cuts off.

My younger sister turns 30 next month and it’s tradition for us to go away for at least one night—the 5 sisters plus our angel sister in law—to celebrate. Our youngest sister’s due date is the day of the actual birthday so we all worked out one single unicorn night we could go downtown for a staycation and it was absolute perfection. The theme of the night out was “Thirty, Flirty and Thriving” so think sequins, color and anything that screams fun. We sat at the pool for hours on end, enjoyed a stunning Dallas rooftop, talked by the fire until we expired, enjoyed the hotel grounds in our pajamas and stayed up talking longer than any mother should knowing good and well they’ll be back to real life in mere hours. It was my first night away from Enakhe in 10 months and I’m so grateful for the time to celebrate my girl with my favorites.

Also, the dates on these photos are from the day I downloaded them (today) just for full disclosure.
