My baby sister will welcome her second baby in less than two months and I just can’t believe it. Her due date is only a week ahead of Enakhe’s first birthday so I remember exactly how I was feeling this time last year when I look at her. I’m going to act (very loosely) as her doula this time around so the curb walking, the tailor sitting, the red raspberry leaf tea—it’s all top of mind these days. It was such a blessing to be able to celebrate her this week. Some other highlights include laughing on the sidelines at Keogena’s soccer practice, taking Lema to his big third grade field trip to Medieval Times and one of those extra sweet marriage weeks where everything is fun and funny for no reason.
