Hi friends. I’m trying out a new series for the next four weeks and I’d love your honest feedback!
I often have more requests for style content and also recipe requests from another crowd but they don’t always work together. I figured this is an easy way to keep a quick journal and hopefully serve both audiences in one place.
In addition to the Friday letter and the podcast every other Wednesday, the “On My Plate // On My Body” will go out every Sunday.
I of course won’t be documenting every single thing I wear (not every sweatsuit needs photographing, ya know?) and not every meal because, honestly, a bowl of cereal, leftovers for the third time and oatmeal just doesn’t need a screenshot. Also, I forget far too much. It’s more of a peek in hopes to give you inspiration if you find yourself in a rut and also for me to look back on. As a disclaimer, I almost never remember to take a photo of my outfit so hopefully I get better, or this is a bust.
In the future, the intro will just be a sentence or two to keep it simple. Without further adieu—here we go!
opening photo: hat. tank. cashmere crewneck (nine years old so similar here) trousers. sneakers.
long sleeve tee is old maternity, vest is a favorite staple and still available.
just acknowledging that the mirror is filthy and moving on. ancient cardigan (identical here). tank. belt. trousers.
old hm blouse. denim trench. sneakers.
old doen sweater. jeans.
sweetgreen salad featuring the hoodie I wore 3x last week, my align leggings and these sneakers.
daily smoothie: frozen kale, frozen wild berry mix, banana, almond milk, water, collagen, vegan protein powder, chia seeds, fiber powder.
favorite vegan pot pie recipe—I skip the corn and use a pre-made gf crust for ours and a pre-made regular crust for O.
paleo candied pecans that I put on a salad I forgot to photograph for dinner with spaghetti and meatballs I also forgot to photograph
the kids favorite—a “traditional english breakfast,” sausage not photographed. I eat this without the bread and the beans
my favorite carnitas, quick pickled red onions drizzled with hot honey barbeque sauce on a gluten free sourdough roll I have delivered every few months.
Well I feel spoiled rotten by this post. And they’ll be more? My. Jam. Thanks, Jill!
Okay YES. I’m obsessed with this. I LIVE for the mundane, ‘here’s what I wear, here’s what I eat’ / day in the life content. Hope it’s here to stay 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
