After being sick and then recovering for weeks and then heading into the thickest of Ugly Winter, outfits have felt a little bit lackluster for a minute. And that’s okay, truly. I’m always in it for comfort above all else and this body has seen more sweatpants than Kanye at this point. But this week, the clouds parted (not literally, it’s been pretty grey) and I suddenly was met with the beautiful coupling of both places to be and motivation to get dressed. One usually exists strictly without the other, so it’s been a good week.
I also felt so motivated in the kitchen. If you read last week’s meal plan, you’ll know my goal for this year is to elevate simple dishes and make regular days special for my family simply with meals. Last week’s menu had my favorite tortellini bake, fried pork chops, paleo carrot muffins and so many delicious things in between.
