O’s jacket. My tee (actually a pajama tee I’m obsessed with wearing tucked into trousers). my trousers. similar cardigan.

This week was a big one in our kitchen. Temperatures in Texas dropped to the low 40s for the first time in many, many months and those chillier temperatures make me want hearty meals, hosting and healthy baked goods at any given moment. I shared the meal plan last week and made every bit of it and then some. The addition of a surprise hosting night meant that my favorite carnitas were added to the list along with another batch of the muffins I shared to be served with ice cream. If you’re still thinking of a meal plan to loosely follow this week, that one is great. I’ll share this week’s meal plan at the end so keep reading.

In today’s letter:

+enakhe’s sweat sets and the $7 alternative I’m obsessed with

similar denim shirt. old Cos trousers.

Monday: I wore this Monday to run errands with my kids at our favorite outdoor mall. It was right before the weather took a huge dip and I wanted to repeat this Spring favorite.

favorite alpaca knit i’ve had for years. favorite sweatpant jeans. wool birks.

Tuesday: I put on a strip lash (this one, my go-to, is currently on sale so I’m stocking up) with the anticipation of recording something special, but within minutes realized it was going to be impossible that day. Instead, I wore this for chores, naptime therapy and school pick up before changing into athleisure for soccer practice where everyone said “wow, you look fancy today” (never underestimate a lash.)

favorite daughter sweatshirt also at nordstrom.

Wednesday: My workday—I had an interview for Left Out and an on camera meeting but I couldn’t bring myself to wear anything but the sweatshirt I reach for most and my glasses. Foolproof. Clearly also couldn’t bring myself to do my brows.

decade old vince wool jacket. anthro knit. under $100 jeans. sambas-exact pair and less expensive pair.
