You described August PERFECTLY. I feel the same way! And I cannot wait to get my hands on that Lucy Foley book!! The only one of hers I’ve read so far is Paris Apartment. Also - Hu kitchen chocolate is everything.

“For a sliver of time, this one mystical pocket of the year, the pause between the end of Summer and start of School, absolutely anything is possible.”

I feel the same way about appreciating all the perks of summer, but also looking forward to the structure that comes with the school year. If only I could figure out how to combine my fully-present and fun mindset that I have in the summer with my organized and motivated mindset that I have to have in the Fall…

Last week I got so much joy out of unpacking and arranging this upcoming year’s school supplies and curriculum. How do you keep all of your supplies and materials handy without your younger littles getting into them?

*side note; are you guys able to watch The Bear right before bedtime? I found myself getting stressed for those characters and made it a strictly watch-in-the-afternoon-only show 😅

I’m totally with you on that desire to combine the best of my Fall and Summer selves. There has to be a way!

My older two are really good about reminding Z to put things back where she finds them. E isn’t old enough to get into things yet but Lord knows that’s coming!

And I still work at night which also is horrible for my cortisol and sleep routine so I’m not the person to ask🫣😅
