Happy Sunday, friends! This week held two birthday parties, one date night, one sister dinner, many meetings, many house visits and many meals you didn’t need to see (tuna, breakfast for dinner, grilled cheese + tomato soup…it was the busy week lineup.)
I stay reppin’ Journeywomen! Sweater is ancient from a Journeywomen shop launch and jeans are old and sold out everywhere but still in stock in light wash and dark wash which I also own. See more photos of these jeans in action in this post. Hat here and shoes in this post.
Hi from the prep pantry! Old H&M shirt (similar here), these trousers are old and sold out but they run super large so they carried me through pregnancy (similar here.) These vejas and a grey knit over my shoulders…which makes me look like I’m wearing a cropped short sleeve sweater, better view of the shirt + sweetest sleeping baby here:
same outfit from the intro— this actual sweater is sold out (it’s the red version of the yellow one in this post) but this and this are identical. jeans. 70’s converse.
date night downtown with exactly 5 minutes to get dressed and out the door: an old blazer, a go-to dissh dress and these boots.
decade old leather jacket, dress sold out in white but in berry here and black here, boots.
this is what I mean by “meals that didn’t need photographing” by the way. But Base Culture Paleo bread is my go-to bread for anyone curious
I didn’t partake in these because they’re black bean burgers, but I’ve been making this recipe since year one of marriage 13 years ago. O and the kids absolutely love it and its an easy weeknight meal-serve with french fries for an extra win.
I made this lasagna for my little sister and parents because she just moved in with them and I can make this lasagna with my eyes closed. Another year one of marriage meal, all of our Washington Redskins (now Commanders) friends will remember this! We haven’t been able to eat this in years but it’s the recipe that everyone asks for without fail. Best ever. I gave it with Texas Toast and cinnamon rolls!
Sixty Vines sister dinner night was a dream. My go-to meal is tapioca fried zucchini and the Cali chicken chop salad. Win every time.
That baby carrier is stunning 😍 love all your outfits per usual ☺️
i’m definitely gonna make those black bean burgers! thanks for the rec!!
