I’m two weeks postpartum with my third, so I am eager to hear more on your experience this go-around! I’m having a lot of guilt around balancing the needs of my older two with a very dependent newborn...trying to be present and enjoy the moment for what it is rather than looking ahead to when there will be more routine, predictability, and (hopefully) sleep.
That guilt is always one of the hardest parts. I totally relate to the being present and not wishing it away part—maybe one of the hardest things to do! Congratulations on your newest addition 💛

SAME! Everyone’s like “I haven’t gotten my period in a year” meanwhile, after exclusively breastfeeding four babies, I’ve had a year full of periods each time 😂😅😅

Mine does too! And I EBF so I never understood it when my mama friends would say they didn’t have their period until they stopped nursing 🤷🏼♀️
