No. 41: The Maternity Leave Content Guide
What to expect and all the content you could possibly want in the meantime
It’s that time, friends. I’ve worked ahead as much as possible and now I’ll step away to let my mind and body fully prepare to welcome this baby any day now.
For the next four weeks, the newsletter will be a Q&A with four incredible women who show up in different ways on the internet sharing how they do summer. I have of course read through all the answers already and I’m SO thrilled to be able to share their wisdom (and hacks) with you. I plan on also recording a birth story podcast and popping in to share that here as well because I never want to forget the sweet details so keep an eye out for that, too.
After that, there will be a couple weeks of pure silence—pure honoring this sacred time and new life without striving—and I’m so thankful for your comments and kindness and urging me to make that choice in response to this post. You all are the reason this exists and I’m so proud of the lovely safe, space we have here.
When I return, I’ll be back with all the home renovation content, the back-to-school content and will post an essay on social media I’ve been itching to share with you. I can’t wait to be back to regularly scheduled programming and will follow as the Lord leads. Who knows, I might have a burning desire to share at random times and I’m thankful for the space to do just that.
One of the best parts about having a blog and newsletter is having an enormous backlog of content that is mostly evergreen. You couldn’t run out of Jill Atogwe content if you tried, friend, so instead of unsubscribing when you don’t see a new newsletter from me…nervous laugh…let me lead you to some of the most popular posts to return to or read for the first time whenever you need to scratch that itch. You know, between your TikTok scrolling and Instagram screenshotting and whatnot.
